We are now hiring competent Service Technicians with commercial experience to work on wide range of HVAC systems in some of the area's most prestigious facilities. You must have at least 5 years of experience in the trade, and a clean DMV record!

Chiller & Boiler experience a plus.

Controls Engineer

Performance Mechanical Group has a rapidly growing HVAC controls division and we now have an opening for a Controls Engineer. We are looking for a person that can fit well within our team, has experience in the HVAC industry, and can consistently meet deadlines and project requirements. We expect that the person be able to communicate effectively, have previous experience in the controls industry, have a good understanding of HVAC systems, and the ability to work effectively with field personnel. In addition they will need to work with vendors to coordinate orders and product shipment dates, have computer skills, and represent our company well in project meetings and other communications with our customers. Job responsibilities: proposal generation, system design, project management.

Candidates must have:

  • Familiarity with HVAC control concepts
  • Ability to specify and apply HVAC controls
  • IT & Network understanding
  • Tridium experience preferred
  • CAD or Visio experience
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • 2 or more years of experience with commercial HVAC control systems
  • WA State drivers license with a good record
  • WA State low voltage electrical card (preferred)
  • Excellent customer skills
  • The ability to pass a drug screening test
